Apple has said that its iPhone 6 and 6S smartphones, the first to be released since the iPhone 5s was unveiled, are not as good as some of its rivals.
In an interview with The Irish Independent, Apple chief executive Tim Cook said the iPhone 6s is not a perfect smartphone.
The iPhone 6, which will be unveiled on Tuesday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, is Apple’s second phone since it launched the iPhone 4S in 2007.
Apple sold more than 80 million iPhones in the first quarter of the year.
Apple’s earnings and financials are due to be announced on Tuesday.
